Secure checkout

Alfa Empire uses HTTPS and Transport Layer Security (TLS) technology to help protect information submitted during checkout. Payment details are encrypted in transit and processed through Shopify’s secure checkout and the payment provider selected by the customer.

Payment terms and conditions

The payment methods currently available for an order are displayed at checkout and may vary by device or location. Depending on availability, options may include:

  • Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, Elo, JCB, UnionPay, and other supported credit or debit cards
  • PayPal
  • Shop Pay
  • Apple Pay
  • Google Pay

The options shown at checkout are the definitive payment methods for your order. Payment must be authorized before an order is accepted. If a payment is declined or cannot be verified, the order may not be completed.

All prices on the United States storefront are displayed in USD. Please review our Shipping Policy for shipping costs and delivery information.

PCI DSS and payment security

The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) sets security requirements for organizations that store, process, or transmit cardholder data. Shopify and the payment providers used at checkout handle payment information through systems designed to meet the applicable PCI DSS requirements.

Your payment information

Alfa Empire does not have access to your full payment-card number. After a purchase is completed, we can access the billing and shipping information, order details, payment status, and limited payment information needed to manage the transaction, such as the card brand and last four digits where provided by the payment processor.

You can confirm that the checkout connection is secure by looking for the closed lock icon and an address beginning with “https” in your browser.

Privacy

We do not rent or sell your payment-card details. Personal information is collected, used, and disclosed only as described in our Privacy Policy, including when information must be shared with Shopify, payment processors, fraud-prevention providers, and other service providers needed to complete an order.
