Return and Refund Policy

For orders delivered in Denmark, Alfa Empire offers a 30-day return window from delivery. This voluntary policy adds to, and does not limit, your statutory consumer rights.

How to request a return

Email hello@alfaempire.com with your order number and the item you want to return within 30 calendar days of delivery. We will provide return instructions and the correct return destination. Please do not send a parcel before receiving these instructions.

For the statutory right of withdrawal, notify us clearly within 14 days of receiving the item. After notifying us, you have another 14 days to send it back. You may also use the remaining time in our 30-day return window to request a voluntary return. Please send a voluntary return within 14 days after your request unless we agree otherwise.

Condition of returned goods and return costs

You may inspect and try an item as you would in a shop. Please return it with all accessories and, where possible, the original tags and packaging. Handling beyond what is necessary to establish the item's nature, characteristics, and fit may lead to a deduction for any resulting loss of value, where permitted by law.

For a change of mind, size, or preference, the customer pays the direct cost of return shipping to the destination in our instructions. This may be an international shipment to our U.S. returns facility; the amount depends on your chosen carrier, parcel size, and service. We do not charge a restocking fee. If an item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, Alfa Empire will cover the reasonable return cost or provide another no-cost solution as required by law.

Exceptions

The statutory right of withdrawal may not apply to goods made to your specifications or to goods sealed for hygiene reasons after the seal has been broken, where the legal conditions for an exception are met. A sale label does not remove your statutory rights. Contact us if you are unsure about a particular item.

Refunds and exchanges

For a statutory withdrawal, we refund the amount paid, including the original standard delivery cost if any, to the original payment method within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice. We may wait until we receive the returned goods or proof that you have sent them back, as permitted by law. For a voluntary return under our extended 30-day window, we refund after receiving and checking the item, normally within 7 days. We will email you when the refund is issued. Your payment provider may need additional time to show it.

We do not process direct exchanges. To order a different size or item, request a return and place a separate order.

Faulty, damaged, or incorrect items

Contact hello@alfaempire.com with your order number and a description of the issue. Photos of the item, packaging, and shipping label help us resolve damage or delivery errors. Danish consumers have a two-year legal right to complain about faults under applicable consumer law. The 30-day return window does not shorten that right.
